NERSC conversion from Unitree to HPSS

                        UNITREE TO HPSS CONVERSION
 
The UniTree storage system will be converted to HPSS on February 7, 1998.  
Both UniTree and HPSS will be unavailable from Saturday 2/7/98 8AM - Monday 
2/9/98 8AM. Cray Data Migration on the J90 cluster and the C90 currently use 
UniTree for migrated files.  Requests for migrated files will be held during 
the conversion.
 
CFS will be unaffected by this conversion and available for the duration.
UniTree users (i.e. MAS utilities or FTP bitbank) will be affected and must 
convert their storage access after the conversion.
