Yes.
Bill Saphir (of the Future Technologies Group) has ported the HPSS PFTP
client to Linux (starlx01.lbl.gov -- Red Hat 5.1) and has tested it (not
exhaustively) here on the NERSC HPSS system.
I will send you the URL for the code and binary this weekend after I get
the full package from Bill and tarball it up.
