Disk 1 Signal for 6 levels of light injection with a red LED, Section 5, Photo gate connected directly to the drain
Fig. 1, Buffer output from a single pixel in section 5 (photo gate connected to drain) for 6 levels of charge injection. The first dip is during reset when the column current source is not connected to a pixel. The peak is the signal immediately after reset. The LED is flashed ~2ms later causing the sudden drop in output voltage. The light pulse is varied by the width of the LED pulse from 0 to 250 ns. The photo gate has a DC bias of 1.096 volts
