There are several options available for lodging during the collaboration meeting. The preferred one is the Foothill dorms (single rooms for $67 per night, 7 night stay). We have a block reservation there and they are conveniently located close to the lab and downtown Bekeley. (The ALS appartments are no longer available.)

Foothill student housing
Single rooms with shared bathrooms (per 2-7 rooms). Price $469 for the entire meeting, June 10-17 (7 nights, $67 per night including tax; it is not possible to reserve less than 7 nights). Address: 2700 Hearst Avenue, very close to the lab and close to downtown and Telegraph Avenue.
If you wish to stay at Foothill, please indicate so at the registration form. After completing the meeting registration, you will be presented with a link to the registration/payment website for the Foothill housing.
Check-in is after 3 pm on June 10, check-out before noon on June 17. The check-in desk is open until 11 pm daily, but after-hours check-in is also possible.

Doubletree hotel
Near Marina in Berkeley, phone (510) 548-7920. The hotel offers shuttle-service to downtown Berkeley.

These are all close to the Lab Shuttle route. We contacted the Durant and Shattuck hotels for the meeting, but they are mostly booked. Since your visiting the lab, you can ask for the government/lab rate at each hotel.
