Parton Densities: Experimental Data and Open Questions

Abstract:

I discuss the present state of affairs with regard to parton density functions based on existing experiments: jets, photons, W asymmetry and Drell-Yan production, and fits to this data. I also point out areas where our understanding can be significantly enhanced by RHIC data.
