Gluons in NucleiAbstract: A Wilson renormalization group and effective action approach is used to derive a new equation for evolution of gluons in nuclei which takes high gluon density effects into account. This will be important in determining the initial parton distributions in the upcoming experiments at RHIC and LHC. Using the new general evolution equation, impact parameter as well as Q and A dependence of nuclear gluon shadowing is investigated. |
