Anisotropic flow in ultrarelativistic nuclear collisions: what we have learned and what we can learn

Abstract:

The questions addressed in the talk are: What is the physics behind the different anisotropies observed at AGS and SPS? Does the study of anisotropic flow help us to understand the general questions of multiparticle production in nuclear collisions, such as QGP creation, thermalization, hadronization, expansion, etc. ?
