1. Introduction

Buckling study of the new STAR beam pipe found that an elliptical pipe had a high buckling factor then a round pipe. Is this an artifact? This study checks to see if there is an angle effect.

2. Description

The angle of the ellipse is varied to see if this changes the load factor.
