New FDID for test federation
Hi all,
I've changed to FDID in the test federation to 25111 using
oochange -fdnumber 25111
I found one peculiarity which has to do with the NFS mount.
With the OO_FD_BOOT variable set to /scr20/gc_fdb/26011/Fdbfile
I tried on one machine (sol.star) and got,
[sol] ~/MyTest/tagdb > oochange -fdnumber 25111
Objectivity/DB (TM) Change FD/AP Control Parameters Utility, Version 5.0
Build: 58
Copyright (c) Objectivity, Inc 1990, 1998. All rights reserved.
** Error #13152: oochange: Cannot change FD values because the Boot File
specified ("rnfs02.rhic:/scr20/gc_fdb/26011/Fdbfile") is
different than the Boot File registered in the FD
("rnfs02.rhic.bnl.gov:/scr20/gc_fdb/26011/Fdbfile"). Please
use
the correct boot file, or use the Install FD utility (specify
only the boot file "/scr20/gc_fdb/26011/Fdbfile", no other
flags) to update this FD to reflect the current installation.
Processing terminated.
But when I tried on another machine with the same OO_FD_BOOT variable,
[rsun00] ~ > oochange -fdnumber 25111
Objectivity/DB (TM) Change FD/AP Control Parameters Utility, Version 5.0
Build: 58
Copyright (c) Objectivity, Inc 1990, 1998. All rights reserved.
The following values will be set:
FD ID: 25111
And the oodumpcatalog correctly reflects this change.
Thanks, Jeff
