CVS problem on starsu00

Hello,

I get the following message from CVS , when I do commit:
(starsu00) QE % cvs commit
cvs [commit aborted]: could not chdir to QE: No such file or directory

Here's some other info:
(starsu00) QE % tokens

Tokens held by the Cache Manager:

User's (AFS ID 3032) tokens for afs@rhic [Expires Oct 28 13:32]
   --End of list--
(starsu00) qe % ls -ld /afs/rhic/gc/cvs/QE
drwxrwxr-x   8 3032     users        2048 Oct 27 15:00 /afs/rhic/gc/cvs/QE/

What's wrong?
