index building scripts updated

I have updated the scripts that build the index. From the latest CVS entry:

Added some error checking. mkindex.csh now produces a file (errors.txt)
with non-fatal errors or warnings from building the index.
Currently it is a list of files that were found in HPSS but that weren't
listed by oodumpcatalog. These files are not included in the index (because
we don't the FID's).
