Current Measurements of Baryon Stopping and Radial Flow

Abstract:

I will review existing data on baryon stopping and transverse radial flow as a function of collision energy and system size. These data come from pp, pA, light nuclear and impact parameter selected heavy ion collisions. While extrapolation of these data to RHIC energy is not uniquely possible, the data do provide important constraints on models currently in use or being developed for predicting RHIC phenomenology.
