The data01 disk is def'ly DOA.

We believe that the all the data on data01 has been saved uncorrupted to HPSS.

We should be getting a (smaller) temporary replacement for data01 on
Tuesday next week (11aug98) until it is repaired in 1-2 weeks. There is a
small chance that we could put a replacement into service before then.

However, we should prob'ly consider the disk gone until mid next week.

What impact does this have? I.E. How desperately should we pursue the
earlier replacement?
