An AFS full backup will be started around 11:00AM
today. The full backups cannot be run overnight as they last for more than
24 hours and need
baby-sitting (read change of tapes0.

As an afs volume is beeing backed up, it is "locked", preventing users from
accessing it. The
bigger the size of the volume, the more time it will stay in the "locked"
state. Expect big volumes (around 1.5, 2 GB) to be locked for around
20-30 minutes.
