Searching for the phase transition at the AGS energies

Abstract:

A hadronic transport model with a phase transition is discussed. The equation of state in the model reproduces qualitatively the lattice results and provides an extrapolation to the finite baryon densities. Utility of various flow observables at the AGS energies and below is discussed, in context of the model.
